Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along, just do as following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that page
• Be careful not to include any spoilers so as not to ruin the book for others.

"The vamps had outlawed books in the Fringe and had systematically gutted every school and library building once they'd taken over, and I knew why.
Because within the pages of every book, there was information of another world - a world before this one, where humans didn't live in fear of vampires and walls and monsters in the night. A world where we were free." 2% Kindle edition

Blood Red Road is even better than I expected! :) It's much easier to take the spelling mistakes in this one than it was in 'After the Snow', that's for certain. At least in this one they're kind of cute. LOL.
What's your teaser this week?

Both of your teasers are intriguing, and I can't decide which one I like best! Probably the second one because I enjoy reading dialect.
