This book is sooooo BO-ring. And I thought that, as a heiress and Lady of the castle and all that, she'd be a more powerful and stronger heroine, but she's been called 'whore', 'bitch', 'stupid' and 'weak' about a dozen times, been beaten and raped and done nothing about it... sure, maybe in that time period that's how a woman would really act, ignore things and hope for the best, but we don't read historicals because they are ACCURATE, right? We read it because we want to run away to another time and have fun... I am now depressed. >.>
Hopefully it'll get better.

Sounds like he is the one doing a lot of stuff. I think some of these books might actually be more interesting from the male's POV if the woman isn't doing a whole lot.
