Stacking The Shelves #40

STSmall

Stacking The Shelves is all about the books we are adding to our shelves each week, sharing with you our excitement for our newest titles and maybe have you discover a new book in the process!

This new feature is hosted by Tynga from Tynga's Reviews.

This week I got:
From Better World Books:

Heart's Blood
(Already read it. It was weird, super long, confusing, but I somewhat liked the thing as a whole, and, for some reason, I intend to keep it. Weird, thy name is me,)
The Demon's Lexicon
( I love the way the guy on the cover pouts. LOL XD )
Life as We Knew It
(Dystopia! Yay!)
Twenty Boy Summer
(I'm REALLY not into contemporary, but decided to give this particular boo a try.)

  1. Nice! Haven't heard of these, but a few sound familiar. I'm not a contemp fan at all either, but kudos to you for giving one a try! I know I am past that now and just stick to my paranormal reads!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by!

    Have a GREAT weekend!

  7. Good decision! Giving Twenty Boy Summer a try - I love contemporary but this is one of the best novels I've ever read...really deep but still entertaining, I would say.

  11. I really enjoyed Life as We Knew It. I read it a long time ago but I remember thinking it was written really well. I think it is the first dystopian novel I ever read so you could say that it started my love for the genre. I hope you like it!
