I love fairy tale retellings. And while I agree, they can all seem to blur together, there are some stand books, like for me Alex Flinn books and I think Jackson Pearce will be the same. Sisters Red is on my wish list, but I haven't picked it up yet.
Great review, though, so thanks!
Tammy @ http://bosbooknook.blogspot.com Bohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05116544104167420505noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1309647502936152953.post-20926097223713187572012-11-15T19:22:56.650-02:002012-11-15T19:22:56.650-02:00wow! Anywa...wow! I LOVE the cover!! LOVE IT! So perfect!
Anyways, the story sounds great!! But I agree, i think i would have wanted the scared one to win the pretty boy, especially when he liked her first.
SO- I think i would get too upset with this one.
GREAT reviewMrs. Joneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13071346437077008455noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1309647502936152953.post-34283607675212653902012-11-15T18:34:09.037-02:002012-11-15T18:34:09.037-02:00Yeah, I agree. There is not much room for romance and I think she can work it out herself. I love that they are kick ass, even when Rose has her soft sides.

You should read Sweetly! That is also a perfect retelling from Pearson. Her writing-style is also flowing in that book and it's very original.Mel@Thedailyprophecyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01516514938771433319noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1309647502936152953.post-82559933806614479092012-11-15T13:12:33.456-02:002012-11-15T13:12:33.456-02:00That's the thing, the author makes it so that ...That's the thing, the author makes it so that she is happy with her ending, apart from missing her sister. Not that I don't believe people can't be happy without a partner (otherwise I'd have drowned in my misery by now. #dramaqueenalert), it's just that I thought she deserved to, well, to get something that would make her happy. Like, anything. Maybe even another hunting partner, but just something! Like the spoiler because I was just about to ask what happens to the scarred sister. no happy ending for her, well that sucks. It's the scarred sister that attracts me to reading this bookThe Librarianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03239792877159279752noreply@blogger.com
